At Elah Kids (Pty) Ltd, we do our best to ensure your order arrives safely and on time. This Shipping Policy explains how and when your order will be delivered, as well as what to expect once it has been dispatched.
1. Delivery Areas
We currently deliver to all major cities and towns across South Africa. We also ship to outlying or rural areas, although delivery times may be slightly longer.
2. Processing Times
Orders are processed once full payment has been received. Processing typically takes 1–2 working days, depending on order volume and stock availability.
3. Delivery Options and Timeframes
Once dispatched, delivery within South Africa usually takes:
Express Delivery: 1–3 working days
Standard Delivery: 3–5 working days
Please allow additional time for regional or outlying areas. Delivery times are estimates and may vary depending on your location and the courier’s schedule.
4. Courier Services
All parcels are delivered via trusted third-party couriers. You’ll receive a tracking link via email or SMS once your parcel has been dispatched. Elah Kids (Pty) Ltd is not liable for delays caused by the courier, weather conditions, strikes, or other events beyond our control.
If you experience a delay after dispatch, please contact the courier directly using your tracking number for the fastest assistance — or contact us at info@elah.kids if you need help.
5. Delivery Costs
Delivery fees are calculated at checkout based on your location and order value.
Free delivery is offered for orders of R2500 and above.
6. Address Accuracy
Please ensure that your delivery address and contact details are accurate when placing your order. Elah Kids (Pty) Ltd cannot be held responsible for parcels delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.
If you realise you entered the wrong address, please contact us immediately at info@elah.kids. Once the parcel has been dispatched, changes may not be possible.
7. Delivery Attempts
Couriers generally make up to two delivery attempts. If delivery is unsuccessful after these attempts, the parcel may be returned to us.
If this happens, re-delivery will require payment of a new courier fee.
8. Lost or Damaged Parcels
In the rare event that a parcel is lost or arrives damaged, please notify us at info@elah.kids within 48 hours of delivery (or expected delivery date).
Include your order number and clear photos (if damaged). We will liaise with the courier to assess and resolve the matter as quickly as possible.
Elah Kids cannot be held responsible for loss or damage after successful delivery to the address provided.
9. Delivery Guarantee
In accordance with the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA), all orders will be delivered within 30 days of the order date, unless otherwise agreed upon at checkout.
If we are unable to fulfil this timeframe, we will contact you to offer an alternative product, revised delivery date, or full refund.
